My travels recently took me to wonderful Illwaco Washington for a two week stay. Beautiful country indeed but once the scenery wears off and boredom sets in you start considering what a handful of Ambien and a bottle of wine might do to raise your spirits, and suddenly Cobain’s decision to take the long dirt nap seems downright prudent.
Long spells of brain inactivity may in fact be to blame for the disproportionate number of improvised hood scoops I found around town.
I think if had to spend another week there I may have dug up a reciprocating saw and carved a hole in the hood of our rental car.
All the better to suck in that salty wet air that Holley 4 barrel carbs seem to thrive on here. And yes, that is a large feline relaxing on the hood of the Camaro.
